Key Responsibilities:


- Serve as the main point of contact for all business interactions; proactively seek opportunities for connection and collaboration to enhance relationships and drive sales.

- Educate and mentor all ADAS calibration technician apprentices, technicians, and calibration coordinators; offer ongoing support throughout their professional journeys.

- Safeguard and maintain company equipment and property.

- Manage de-escalation interventions and problem-solving in various situations, building trust with clients and team members.

- Exemplify company core values in leadership.

- Oversee, manage, and be accountable for all team members within the department, ensuring organizational success and capitalizing on opportunities.

- Provide exceptional customer service, foster relationships, and maintain operational consistency.

- Conduct static and dynamic ADAS calibrations on various vehicles, including foreign, domestic, and electric models, at customer locations.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot intricate calibration and non-calibration repairs, including wiring issues.

- Perform test drives post-repair to verify service quality.

- Clearly communicate ADAS calibration specifications and repair planning needs to relevant personnel.

- Possess basic knowledge of vehicle part removal and installation (e.g., bumpers, trim panels, mirrors).

- Execute pre and post scans using OE and/or aftermarket tools, effectively communicating results.

- Carry out static and dynamic calibrations according to OE specifications following training completion.

- Collaborate with the field team to ensure efficiency and productivity.

- Ensure timely completion of tooling software updates.

- Manage assigned inventory, including vehicles, mobile devices, laptops, OE scan tools, VCI, and other provided equipment.

- Engage in virtual training sessions and complete assigned training and certifications.

- Maintain an active State of Michigan Automotive Electrical License and Automotive Air Conditioning License.

- Cultivate and sustain excellent customer relationships in alignment with our company mission and core values.

- Service A/C systems and demonstrate knowledge of OE scan tools.

- Execute quality wiring, connector, and harness repairs with skill.

- Keep a well-organized workspace.

- Show adaptability in working both independently and collaboratively.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in email, spreadsheets, databases, and messaging systems.

- Valid and clean Driver License (required).

- High school diploma or GED equivalent (required).

- 4+ years of relevant Service Technician experience (required).

- Active State of Michigan Automotive Electrical License (required).

- Active Automotive Air Conditioning License (required).

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

- Ability to lift 60 pounds independently.

- Travel may be necessary for ongoing education and certification training.

- Requires prolonged standing with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, and stooping.

- Frequent driving of company and customer vehicles.

- Extensive travel within the designated area is expected.

- Exposure to fumes, dust, and chemicals may occur.

- Capability to work in a shop environment under varying weather conditions.

- Required to wear personal protective equipment, including facial coverings, eye protection, and gloves.
