- Initial Testing: Conduct initial testing to assess the functionality and performance of newly installed machines.
- Calibration and Fine-Tuning: Calibrate machines to ensure they meet all needs associated with manufacturing requirements.
- System Integration: Ensure that new machines are fully integrated into existing manufacturing or process systems.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain all commissioning records, installation reports, calibration certificates, and performance benchmarks.
- Client Training: Train customer personnel in the operation and maintenance of newly commissioned machines.
- Post-Commissioning Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for a predetermined period after commissioning.
- Project Management: Provide timely and accurate reporting on commissioning activities to the Engineering Manager and other stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy is crucial for reconciling invoices and making payments.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, vendors, and deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Effective written/verbal communication skills with vendors and internal departments.
- Numerical Skills: Comfort with numbers and calculations.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in accounting software like Sage and Microsoft Office applications like Excel.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to solve problems that involve numerical data and to make decisions based on that data.
- Proficiency: Reading and understanding blueprints and technical specifications.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of working experience with mechanical systems, electrical circuitry, and controls.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
