Transition Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and oversee the seamless transition and implementation of contracts and projects, ensuring all deliverables are met with the highest standards.
This role requires a proactive leader who can coordinate cross-functional teams, manage resources efficiently, and act as a liaison between stakeholders, contractors, and government agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and Coordination: Develop and execute comprehensive transition plans aligned with project goals and contract requirements.
- Execution and Oversight: Oversee the onboarding and mobilization of resources, including staffing, systems, and processes.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, government officials, and contractors during the transition period.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with federal regulations, including FAR, DFARS, and agency-specific guidelines.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement best practices for transition processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of demonstrated experience managing large-scale contract transitions, preferably within federal government or IT-focused projects.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, IT, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong project management and organizational skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications. This is a full-time/contractual/perm position located in Woodbridge, VA or Las Vegas, NV.
