Position Overview

The Bilingual Clinician plays a vital role within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team dedicated to delivering community-focused and strengths-based services to children and adolescents (ages 6-21) and their families. This role includes providing short-term intensive family therapy when identified as necessary. The clinician will also conduct thorough assessments, engage in outreach efforts, and manage all documentation associated with the intake process. Additionally, this position is responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service for youth and referral sources, providing case summaries to program staff at the end of the assessment phase.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Leads the assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized service plans, coordinating multiple services and treatment providers.
  • Facilitates individual, group, couples, family, and/or multi-family therapy using therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, Structural Therapy, or Trauma-Focused CBT.
  • Coordinates youth services, collaborating with referring providers, probation officers, child welfare agencies, school districts, and other professionals involved in a youth's care.
  • Assists families in identifying their strengths and needs, helping them develop strategies to address these needs, including enhancing community resources.
  • Provides case management services advocating for youth and families, securing necessary resources, and coordinating care.
  • Implements a strengths-based treatment plan with measurable goals, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Offers psychoeducation to clients, family members, and team colleagues.
  • Ensures timely completion of documentation, billing, referrals, and other required paperwork.
  • Maintains confidential health records in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Performs duties in accordance with CarePartners Living LLC's Treatment Philosophy and Mission Statement.
  • Engages in additional responsibilities related to the program as assigned.
  • Provides clinical services to Spanish-speaking youth and families.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Eligibility for clinical licensure (Registration with BBS/BOP as an Intern) is required.
  • Ability to assess the strengths and needs of youth and families.
  • Knowledge of community resources available to the public and private sectors.
  • Capability to maintain documentation of services provided.
  • Experience working with families across diverse cultural contexts and community settings.
  • Background in addressing issues related to abuse within families.
  • Familiarity with various treatment modalities, including family systems work and group therapy.
  • Understanding of substance abuse issues and their impact on family dynamics.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
  • Availability to work evenings.
