Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned hotel finance leader to join our team as the Chief Financial Officer for our Waikiki hotels. This role will oversee the financial operations for the Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach, Holiday Inn Express Waikiki, and the Queen Kapi'olani Hotel.

The ideal candidate will have a strong command of English, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be proficient in Windows, MS Excel (pivot tables), and hospitality systems. They will also have a bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, and be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize, secure, and maintain all financial files and records per company policies and procedures.
  • Record, store, access, and analyze financial information to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare, document, and complete month-end closing procedures and reporting requirements.
  • Provide financial information and results to departments, hotel staff, and the corporate office.
  • Establish, monitor, and enforce financial policies and procedures to maximize returns and limit risks on cash.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by researching legislation and filing financial reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (Hospitality concentration a plus).
  • Proficiency in Windows, MS Excel (pivot tables), and hospitality systems (Profitsage, Hotel PM's systems, etc).
  • Strong command of the English language, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as necessary.
Estimated Salary

$80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
