Capital Language Services is a local organization dedicated to providing educational, affordable, safe, and high-quality environment for children in after school programs. Our main office is located in the DC NW area, near Tenleytown, and we operate afterschool programs in the Northwest and Southeast areas.

Job Summary

We are seeking an Office Operations Associate to join our team in Washington D.C. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our human resources team and support our afterschool programs in the afternoon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the human resources team, including record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS entry.
  • Assist with the preparation of the performance review process and track candidate status in the HRIS.
  • Implement and carry out all CLS policies and procedures, reporting any discrepancies to the executive office.
  • Support the daily operations of the various afterschool programs by filling in for instructors and coordinators.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, with at least one year of office experience.
  • Strong knowledge of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize duties.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
