We are seeking an Environmental and Social (E&S) Specialist to join our team in Latin America. The Specialist will provide support in assessing environmental and social risks, impacts, and required mitigation measures for projects seeking support from Development Finance institutions (DFIs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough environmental and social risk assessments for projects seeking support from Development Finance institutions (DFIs)
  • Monitor the environmental and social performance of active DFI projects across a range of finance products in the Latin American region
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in environmental and social impact assessments with a focus on international standards in developing countries
  • Specific experience with IFC Performance Standards is required
  • Expertise in a relevant field such as environmental science, geology, sociology, or anthropology is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience working with DFIs or the private sector in Latin America
  • Must be fluent in Spanish
  • U.S. citizenship required
