Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Social Impact Assessment Consultant to join our team at ERM. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing the social and socio-economic impacts of large-scale development projects in the US and internationally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field research using quantitative and qualitative methods to assess social and socio-economic impacts.
  • Plan and conduct stakeholder engagement programs to ensure effective communication with clients, ERM employees, and vendors.
  • Design and implement practical corporate sustainability policies, programs, and tools to support our clients' sustainability goals.
  • Perform multiple projects within scope, budget, and schedule expectations, ensuring high-quality standards on project deliverables.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in sociology, anthropology, public policy, socio-economics, or related discipline.
  • Fluent and competent in Spanish is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • Up to 4 years of experience, including willingness/interest in research.
  • Strong commitment to safety, including following established Health and Safety protocols.
  • Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills; experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports.
