Position Summary- The role involves delivering exceptional customer support in both a call center and retail environment. Candidates should be adept at engaging with customers in person and over the phone, with an openness to future leadership opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and timely information regarding transportation routes, services, passes, and upcoming initiatives.
  • Handle opening and closing tasks at the retail desk or call center, including cash management and reporting duties.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for guests at the transit center, offering current information on routes, products, and services.
  • Guide customers on utilizing the bus system and provide essential information as required.
  • Ensure the availability and proper display of route details, pass inventory, and promotional materials.
  • Assist in executing customer service projects and surveys.
  • Receive and address customer feedback to ensure satisfaction and quality assurance.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company offerings, services, and future plans.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Open to assuming additional responsibilities over time, such as managing daily sales transactions, generating monthly reports, processing purchase orders, and leading the customer service team.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; some college education is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, or a related field is required.
  • Familiarity with mass transit systems, particularly local services.
  • Bilingual skills or experience with ASL are advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with support and guidance.
  • Commitment to excellent attendance.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable with standing and sitting for extended periods and moving throughout the workday.
  • Flexible day shift availability, with potential rotating weekend shifts.
  • Compensation ranges from $14.00 to $15.00 per hour, based on experience, with opportunities for competitive incentives.
