Client Specialist Role

Baird's Private Wealth Management business is seeking a highly skilled Client Specialist to provide exceptional client service and operational support to our Financial Advisors. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering tailored solutions to our clients and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate client onboarding, including managing prospect pipelines, generating proposals, and preparing new account paperwork.
  • Develop knowledge of Baird's Corporate Resource Groups to provide best-in-class wealth management solutions to clients.
  • Provide exceptional client service, including answering phone calls, managing client needs, and advising Financial Advisors on action taken.
  • Assemble and generate materials for client meetings, including paperwork and reports.
  • Ensure business adherence to firm and financial industry regulatory policies.
  • Manage Financial Advisor and Team social media presence, including website, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
  • Maintain Client Relationship Management (CRM) system for Financial Advisors, leveraging the platform to manage client relationships through mailings, reporting, and email tracking.
  • Organize and coordinate seminars and client events, developing client lists, designing materials, and coordinating PowerPoint presentations.
  • Enhance Financial Advisor business effectiveness and marketability by identifying opportunities and implementing solutions.
  • Initiate and complete transactions required to fully service client accounts, including paperwork, correspondence, and client request fulfillment.
  • Enter security orders, including stocks, bonds, fixed income, options, annuities, and other investment vehicle orders, per Financial Advisors' instructions or upon client direction.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of prior industry and/or administrative work experience.
  • Active Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam, Series 7, and Series 66 or Series 63 and Series 65 licenses or willingness to study and obtain within 18 months of hire.
  • Focus on excellent client service.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to learn and effectively navigate Baird's Private Wealth Management technology platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adeptly exchange ideas and information.
  • Detail-oriented with an emphasis on accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workflow to achieve specific goals in a timely manner.
  • Understanding of compliance regulations and correspondence policies, with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Good analytical and critical problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
