Note:
This is a full-time position that offers a hybrid or remote work environment, primarily functioning from a home office with occasional visits to corporate offices.

Ideal Candidate:
The Engineering Manager (EM) is seeking candidates with a background in Civil Engineering; relevant experience in civil roadway design and research is essential. Recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Job Overview:
This role entails managing government relocation requests through shared mailboxes, overseeing site activities, and utilizing GIS and Maximo systems.


The primary responsibility will be to monitor the government relocation shared mailboxes, providing initial responses to external parties to ensure transparency in relocation requests and clarity regarding project relocation requirements.

This position will support the NGBU Engineering, Distribution Construction, and Major Projects teams.

Key activities will include, but are not limited to, creating work orders in Maximo (as needed), establishing digital job folders, developing tracking systems for relocation requests, liaising with governmental entities, editing procedural documents, and maintaining organization for project-specific information sent to PNG.


Required Systems Knowledge:
Maximo, SAP, Microsoft Office (Excel), Power BI, SharePoint

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering and technical expertise to identify, analyze, and resolve issues within your area of specialization.
- Independently prepare comprehensive and precise technical reports, correspondence, documentation, and sketches.
- Commit to continuous improvement of job-related, technical, and professional knowledge, skills, and performance.
- Foster positive working relationships to effectively coordinate work activities, demonstrating strong oral and written communication skills. Maintain accurate records and files.


- May assist with pre-construction activities for various projects, including planning and routing proposed pipelines, as well as property owner identification and notification when necessary.


Additional Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in the utility sector.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and maps.
- Capable of managing multiple projects or tasks simultaneously.


- Understanding of fundamental practices in researching engineering and design issues, evaluating alternatives, making sound recommendations, and preparing and presenting those recommendations.
