Position Overview

Novant Health is on the lookout for a skilled Bariatric Advanced Practice Provider to become a pivotal part of our extensive Bariatric program, which includes a team of 3 physicians and 7 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) operating across multiple locations. This role is dedicated to both surgical and non-surgical Bariatric patients. As a Lead APP, you will collaborate closely with our physicians to deliver exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently, possess excellent communication skills, and adapt swiftly to evolving situations.

Experience in Bariatrics and surgical assistance is preferred, with RNFA certification required for Nurse Practitioners or the ability to obtain it.

Our dedicated team of surgeons, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants collaborates to deliver outstanding care to both operative and non-operative patients. The selected APP will undertake a variety of responsibilities under the guidance of our surgeons, including patient consultations in a clinical setting, performing office procedures, assisting in surgeries, and rounding at acute care facilities.
