Novant Health is in search of a seasoned Bariatric Advanced Practice Provider to oversee a comprehensive Bariatric program comprising 3 physicians and 7 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) across multiple locations. This role is pivotal in delivering care to both surgical and non-surgical Bariatric patients. As a Lead APP, you will collaborate closely with our physicians in patient consultations. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to operate independently, exhibit exceptional communication skills, demonstrate adaptability, and thrive in high-pressure environments. We are dedicated to providing a holistic approach to weight management, which includes nutritional, psychological, and exercise education, alongside continuous support throughout our patients' weight loss journeys. We seek a compassionate, patient-centered provider who values teamwork, patient education, and is committed to enhancing the health and wellness of our patients and their communities. Our program emphasizes both patient care and the well-being of our team members, fostering an environment of mutual support and professional development. We are looking for a provider eager to innovate and enhance patient care while contributing to the growth of our program. Experience in Bariatrics and surgical assistance is preferred. RNFA certification is required for Nurse Practitioners or the ability to obtain it.
Our dedicated team of surgeons, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants work in unison to deliver exceptional care to both operative and non-operative patients. The selected APP will undertake a variety of responsibilities under the guidance of our surgeons, including patient consultations in clinical settings, performing office procedures, assisting in surgeries, and providing care in acute facilities.
