The Department of Surgery at Atrium Health is seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Chief of Bariatric Surgery. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced surgeon to lead our Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery Section.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery Section, collaborating with administrative leadership to achieve departmental goals.
- Supervise and oversee the education, research, clinical, and administrative service missions of Atrium Health Weight Management.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive vision for bariatric surgery, aligning with the values and mission of the Department of Surgery.
- Lead a team of experienced surgeons, bariatricians, and advanced practice practitioners to deliver high-quality patient care and advance the field of bariatric surgery.
- Collaborate with other divisions within the Department of Surgery to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and advance the department's research and education missions.
