KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by consistently practicing and embodying our commitment to outstanding guest experiences.
  • Handle cash transactions efficiently for casino patrons.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in enrolling guests into the Players Club and manage accurate player tracking data.
  • Respond to inquiries via phone with professionalism.
  • Process customer checks while ensuring accuracy in guest information.
  • Balance cash drawers at the start and end of each shift, ensuring proper amounts are maintained.
  • Conduct cash buys with the main bank to ensure drawer readiness.
  • Complete all necessary documentation accurately.
  • Adhere to department uniform and grooming standards.
  • Follow attendance policies and comply with all regulatory and company guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform all duties safely and responsibly.
  • Attend departmental meetings and training sessions as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in cashiering or significant cash handling is preferred.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and promptly.
  • Proficient in operating computers and various office equipment.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, including safety guidelines and operational instructions. Strong verbal communication skills in English are essential.

MATH SKILLS:

Competence in basic arithmetic operations and the ability to handle financial transactions accurately, including counting money and making change.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions and solve problems in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATIONS:

Must qualify for any necessary licenses and permits as mandated by local, state, and federal regulations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment is typically loud, and employees may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke.
