  • Design and implement top-tier social strategies and programs in collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, aiming to enhance reach, engagement, and follower growth.
  • Maintain a social media calendar to oversee posting schedules; review and approve social media content, including image selection and caption writing.
  • Update and enforce channel-specific social media guidelines.
  • Provide insights and perspectives on social media in the context of marketing campaigns.
  • Create engaging and brand-consistent copy that reflects the Guayaki voice across all social platforms.
  • Ensure timely publication of posts.
  • Stay informed about social media trends and technologies, continuously developing creative insights to adapt strategies in the dynamic social media landscape.
  • Establish KPIs and deliver regular analytics reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual assessments of performance to internal stakeholders.
  • Benchmark and drive follower growth and engagement, cultivating an authentic audience for long-term brand health.
  • Review and approve community engagement communications as needed.
  • Occasionally assist with community management to support the Community Manager and maintain a strong connection with our online community.
  • Notify the Social Media Director of potential marketing partnership opportunities with influential individuals and brands on social media.
  • Collaborate with the content team to request materials for upcoming campaigns and current trends.
  • Utilize both native social analytics and third-party tools to enhance content development for social media.
  • Assist in generating original content for social media.
  • Monitor competitors and industry leaders to gain insights and refine social media strategies.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7+ years of experience as a social media manager for brand accounts with substantial followings.
  • Extensive experience with social media applications, content creation, and strategy development.
  • Strong collaborative skills with multiple stakeholders to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media trends and digital media industry developments.
  • Proven expertise in social media content creation and copywriting.
  • A keen eye for visual aesthetics and creative presentation.
  • Ability to think creatively while employing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple projects while maintaining brand integrity and attention to detail.
