Job Title: Physician Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Helping Others Manage Emotions Therapeutic Services, LLC. As a Physician Assistant, you will be responsible for examining patients, collecting medical history, and making diagnoses on minor and major issues. You will also be reading diagnostic tests and reports, interpreting data, and prescribing therapy or medication with a physician's approval.

Responsibilities:

  • Examine patients, take detailed medical histories, and chart everything medically important in their records
  • Read test results, interpret data, and make diagnostic suggestions based on those results
  • Explain test results and expected health outcomes to patients
  • Prescribe medication or therapy with a physician's oversight as part of a comprehensive treatment plan
  • Work closely with nurses, other Physician Assistants, and Physicians to develop a full treatment plan


Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensing required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with medical terminology, charting, and diagnostic tests
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
