Job Summary:

Adecco is seeking a skilled Automation Systems Specialist to join our team. As an Automation Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating the installation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical automated system machines, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and communicating effectively with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate on-site installation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical automated system machines.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and align electrical and mechanical automated system machines.
  • Clear interfaces of electrical and mechanical software.
  • Effectively communicate with customers in high-impact scenarios.
  • Develop and maintain standards and tools for hardware projects.
  • Monitor external suppliers and automated system machine performance.
  • Perform warehouse and distribution center ladder, metal stairs, catwalks, and temporary structure maintenance.
  • May perform extended hours, weekend, and holiday work in support of customer service and change requests.
  • May travel to other sites for paid training, installations, and vacation relief.
  • Work independently with little or no supervision.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Train internal and external customers to increase system knowledge, resolve issues, and prevent issues from recurring.
  • Update system manuals.
  • Attend and participate in customer meetings.

Qualification Requirements:

  • 2-year degree in Electronic or Mechanical Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of equipment maintenance experience preferably with automation.
  • Working knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles, motors, drivers, belts, and bearings.
