Automation and Controls Engineer Opportunity

LHH is partnering with a leading manufacturing company to find an experienced Automation and Controls Engineer to enhance their automation processes and ensure optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop new control systems to improve manufacturing efficiency

Oversee and plan the maintenance and modification of existing systems to ensure seamless operation

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, operation engineers, and IT, to drive automation initiatives

Liaise with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with industry standards

Project manage automation projects within budget and time constraints

Develop and implement troubleshooting procedures for IT systems, industrial automation systems, and plant floor instrumentation

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards

Write specifications for new software requirements and provide technical guidance to the maintenance department

Develop a technical training program for the maintenance department in process controls, electrical systems, and instrumentation

Requirements:

3-5 years of experience in engineering within manufacturing

Electrical Engineering degree or related field preferred

Industrial Manufacturing Experience Required

Salary Range: Up to 150k base
