Incentive:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations, including documentation review and formal assessments, to develop a personalized care plan.
  • Create an individualized Plan of Care that outlines treatment modalities, frequency, and measurable goals.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to address speech, language, voice, oral-pharyngeal function, and cognitive communication challenges. Develop and train clients on augmentative and alternative communication systems.
  • Provide consultation and educational services to patients, families, and caregivers, including screening for hearing impairments.
  • Reassess patients to evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans as necessary.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of patient evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a pediatric outpatient setting.
  • Availability to work at least two evenings until 6:30 PM, with potential Fridays off.
  • Willingness to travel locally and engage in community settings for up to 10 hours weekly.
  • Strong knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality therapy.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for collaborative teamwork and independent work.
  • High standards of quality and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to manage tasks from initiation to completion.
  • Proficient in Google Drive and experienced with iPad technology.
Educational and Certification Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current State of South Carolina speech-language pathologist license (SC LLR).
  • CPR certification.
  • Teaching certificate is preferred.
