Job Title: RN Assessor

Wellcove is seeking a skilled RN Assessor to join our team. As a RN Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting non-medical, observational assessments to determine the eligibility of clients for long-term care insurance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments in the client's home or facility setting
  • Document client demographics, physician information, and medication and diagnosis lists
  • Administer cognitive screenings (MMSE or SPMSQ) and document the client's ability to complete ADL and IADL tasks
  • Submit completed assessment documentation within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment
  • Remain available for clarifications from AssuriCare's Clinical Review team
Requirements:
  • Current unencumbered RN licensure in the state of practice
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a professional liability insurance policy
  • Must have a current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable vehicle and/or public transportation
  • Minimum of 2 years of home health experience or nursing in an equivalent area of practice serving geriatric clients
  • Must have your own computer/tablet and internet access
What We Offer:
  • $95 per assessment
  • Most assessment locations are within 30 miles round trip
  • 1099 contract position to earn supplemental income (PRN/As Needed)

COVID-19 precautions will be taken during assessments, including wearing a mask and maintaining social distancing. Claimant/Family or Facility may have additional COVID-19 requirements.
