Job Summary:
Kingsbridge Heights Community Center is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our Family Enrichment Center (FEC) in the Bronx. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, build partnerships with community stakeholders, and create a culture of teamwork and collaboration among staff, participants, and community members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the FEC, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Build partnerships with community members, public officials, and public and private organizations.
- Create and engage an advisory council of community members to facilitate collaborative decision making.
- Manage the budget and processes for collaborative hiring, training, and coaching of FEC team members.
- Serve as a liaison to ACS, maintaining consistent communication with the ACS FEC Program Management team.
- Support continuous learning activities to ensure adherence to the model and continuous feedback from community members.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community development, family services, or a related field. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with community members, staff, and stakeholders. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field.
Physical Demands:
The position requires regular standing, walking, and sitting, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
