Job Summary

Catholic Health Service is seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Specialist to join our team in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU). As an Intensivist, you will lead the interdisciplinary team in providing comprehensive care to admitted cardiothoracic patients.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the interdisciplinary team in the comprehensive care of admitted cardiothoracic patients
  • Provide subspecialty support in all medical/surgical areas, including endocrinology, cardiology, nephrology, and more
  • Collaborate with dedicated CTICU nurses, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners
  • Support residency programs in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, Podiatry, Pediatrics, and Obstetrics and Gynecology
Requirements
  • Licensed to practice medicine in New York State
  • Board Certified or Board eligible within 3 years with training in critical care
  • BCLS and ACLS certified from American Heart Association
