Position Summary
ReDiscover is seeking a dedicated Client Access Coordinator to join our Women's & Children Services team.

For over five decades, ReDiscover has served as a nonprofit community mental health organization in southeastern Jackson County, Missouri, committed to providing effective and affordable treatment to those in need. Our diverse workforce of more than 700 professionals is “Passionate About People”, working tirelessly to support individuals impacted by mental health challenges or substance use disorders.
OUR MISSION
The Women & Children Services program is a voluntary, collaborative initiative designed to empower women in overcoming the challenges associated with addiction. We focus on equipping them with the resources and skills necessary to navigate their personal journeys, whether as individuals, family members, or community members. Our offerings include residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient services, daycare for children under 12, individual and group therapy, case management, peer support, psychiatric services, and medication-assisted treatment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
While each day presents unique challenges, typical responsibilities for this role may include:
- Welcoming and assisting clients in a courteous, professional manner to enhance their treatment experience.
- Conducting interviews with potential clients and/or guardians both in-person and via phone to gather necessary documentation, including client histories and insurance information.
- Facilitating referrals to appropriate programs tailored to individual client needs.
- Performing routine administrative tasks such as managing phone calls, scheduling appointments, and overseeing waitlists and referrals.
- Collecting and maintaining client information, ensuring accurate documentation within ReDiscover's electronic medical record system.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to address various wellness aspects and ensure effective communication regarding client care coordination.
We are committed to your professional growth and will provide support as you develop in your role as a Client Access Coordinator. However, the following qualifications are essential:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Preferred: One (1) year of progressive business and/or administrative training.
- Preferred: One (1) year of direct service experience with the target population or related human services.
- Highly preferred: One (1) year of experience managing high-volume calls.
- Familiarity with mental health and substance use disorders is essential.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on recovery.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Intermediate proficiency in typing, Microsoft Word, Excel, and G-Suite applications.
