Advanced Practice Provider

We are a distinguished practice specializing in Neurological Surgery, currently in search of a proficient Advanced Practice Provider to enhance our team. This position encompasses both clinical and surgical duties, including assisting the supervising physician during surgical procedures and delivering patient care within a clinical environment. Candidates with a background in Neurological Surgery are highly preferred. We offer competitive remuneration and comprehensive benefits for this role. Applicants must possess a valid license in Texas, be Board Certified, and successfully complete a background check for credentialing purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in surgical operations at various facilities as the First Assist.
- Perform patient evaluations, develop care strategies, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and provide education to patients and their families.
- Accurately document clinical interactions in a timely manner.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals in planning patient care.
- Comply with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
- Execute any additional responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited physician assistant program.
- Active PA license in Texas.
- Current DEA certification.
- Certification as a physician assistant from a recognized organization.
