AmeriGas Delivery Representative Job Description

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career with a nationally recognized company? AmeriGas, the largest distributor of propane in the United States, is seeking a safety-minded and customer-focused Delivery Representative to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver propane to residential and commercial customers while ensuring the highest standards of safety and customer service.
  • Operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes, filling residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
  • Deliver propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers.
  • Perform all daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations, as well as AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
  • Consistently use required Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Work 8 to 12-hour shifts, depending on fluctuating needs.

Requirements:
  • A valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
  • An acceptable driving record.
  • Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
  • A willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • The ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
