About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Remodeling Technician to join our team at Long Term Care Remodeling. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of work in the remodeling of nursing homes and rehabilitation centers.

Responsibilities
  • Interior Demolition: Safely dismantle and remove interior components to prepare for renovation.
  • Construction Clean-up: Thoroughly clean and organize work sites to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
  • General Construction: Perform a variety of tasks, including carpentry, drywall installation, and painting, to complete remodeling projects.
  • Power and Hand Tool Use: Operate and maintain power tools and hand tools to ensure efficient and safe work practices.
  • Tool Management: Ensure all tools are properly stored and maintained at the end of each workday.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Out-of-Town Work: Ability to work out of town as required by the job.
  • Attendance and Punctuality: Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality, with no call/no show or tardiness.
  • Teamwork and Integrity: Demonstrate honesty, a positive attitude, and respect for colleagues and the company.
  • Basic Construction Knowledge: Possess basic knowledge of construction principles and practices.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move construction materials (up to 50-75 lbs) and withstand working conditions.

  • Per Diem Compensation: Receive per diem compensation when working out of town.
  • Health Insurance: Eligible for health insurance after a 30-day probationary period, with the company covering 90% of the premium and the employee covering 10%.
