Job Summary:

Pilot Thomas Logistics is seeking a skilled Tank Wagon Operator to transport and deliver various lubricants, fuels, and chemicals. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of materials, while maintaining compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Safely operate loaded and empty tanker trucks of various sizes, makes, and models.
  • Properly load and unload trucks, handling hoses, and perform hooking and unhooking procedures.
  • Complete paperwork accurately and promptly, including driver logs, pre- and post-trip forms, and invoices.
  • Work with leadership, dispatchers, co-workers, and customers to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in transportation or a related field.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
