We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Loan Servicing Specialist to join our team at Mountain West Bank. As a key member of our loan servicing team, you will be responsible for performing routine duties related to booking, assembling, and verifying the accuracy of consumer and commercial loan documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Loan Documentation: Prepare SBA loan documentation and change in terms with accuracy and within the department turn time standards of receipt of a completed loan request.
- Loan Booking: Book all types of SBA loans and change in terms within 24 hours of receipt with accuracy.
- Loan Maintenance: Perform loan maintenance and complete research requests for SBA loans.
- Payment Processing: Process payments, setup and change AFTs, correct and reverse loan payments.
- Collateral Release: Process and document release of collateral as approved.
- File Management: Conduct review of SBA loan files, assemble files and notate, follow-up, and track exceptions.
- Reporting: Complete necessary tasks for HMDA LAR & CRA reporting.
- Special Projects: Work on required reporting and special projects as assigned.
- Customer Service: Provide prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly customer service to internal and external customers.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 or more years of experience in loan policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of banking policies and procedures, thorough understanding of required documentation and signature requirements for various entities.
- Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and handle complex tasks efficiently under time constraints.
