About the Role

Banner Bank is seeking a highly skilled SBA Servicing Specialist to join our team. As an SBA Servicing Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth servicing of SBA loans, maintaining accurate loan records, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare collateral releases for SBA loan portfolio and monitor paid loan reports in accordance with established controls.
  • Responsible for servicing actions for SBA loans with an aggregate value of less than $500K, acting as the primary customer contact and working closely with SBA Credit Analysts for financial input.
  • Quote and process SBA payoff correspondence, interacting with title and escrow companies as needed.
  • Prepare all payoff letters to SBA on all participated loans.
  • Ensure compliance with SBA loan program requirements, Banner Bank's policies, procedures, and security agreements, as well as government regulations.
  • Monitor SBA compliance in all servicing actions within the SBA loan portfolio, reviewing loan documents and following up on the completion of actions within the SBA system.
  • Scan documents into the imaging system after servicing actions are complete and file all documents within SBA loan files.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • 0-2 years of commercial loan servicing experience required; SBA commercial loan servicing experience preferred.

  • Targeted starting compensation range based on location and experience: $23.71-$27.90.
  • Incentive and commission compensation may be awarded for eligible roles.
