Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and record patient vital signs, notifying RN of any changes.
- Observe patients' behavior, mental status, and activities, reporting any unusual occurrences to RN.
- Escorts and observes clients during activities, meals, visitation, and groups.
- Perform patient safety checks and document accordingly.
- Assist with therapeutic educational groups and one-on-one observation of high-risk patients.
- Provide general nursing care, including transferring patients and assisting with daily activities.
- High school diploma or GED.
- CPR and hospital-selected de-escalation technique certification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
- Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant certification and one year of experience as a mental health technician.
