As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct and indirect patient care, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, notifying RN of any changes.
  • Observe patients' behavior, mental status, and activities, reporting any unusual occurrences to RN.
  • Escorts and observes clients during activities, meals, visitation, and groups.
  • Perform patient safety checks and document accordingly.
  • Assist with therapeutic educational groups and one-on-one observation of high-risk patients.
  • Provide general nursing care, including transferring patients and assisting with daily activities.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • CPR and hospital-selected de-escalation technique certification.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant certification and one year of experience as a mental health technician.
