Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metal Finishing Associate to join our team at Gauthier Biomedical Inc. This role involves performing polishing and finishing activities, including process definition, setup, operation, and troubleshooting to meet quality and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize belt sanding, polishing wheels, and other fiber wheels to polish metal components.
  • Perform glass-bead/grit blast operations.
  • Assist with passivation and deflashing.
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Heat treat parts as needed.
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance functions and machine tool troubleshooting.
  • Use precision measuring instruments to determine component conformance to specifications.
  • Perform other production assignments as necessary.
  • Maintain a professional working relationship and effectively communicate with all employees, managers, vendors, customers, and regulatory agencies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related production experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
