Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to join our innovative team. This role is pivotal in supporting the rapidly evolving Semiconductor and Life Sciences Lab markets. At Brooks, we value new ideas and collaborative efforts that drive our technological advancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute intricate customer support tasks, including the installation, modification, repair, and preventive maintenance of Brooks' systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Diagnose and rectify complex equipment issues, implementing corrective measures while adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Potentially serve as a Local / Shift / Site Lead, guiding other Service Engineers and providing installation support as necessary.
- Engage with customers to guarantee satisfaction with equipment and service, actively participating in operational meetings and presenting on behalf of Brooks.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in electro-mechanical or electronics technical support and repair services.
- Familiarity with lasers and sensing devices used in robotic positioning circuitry.
- Proficient in troubleshooting microelectronics schematics and digital circuits.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required.
