Clinical Documentation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Documentation Specialist to join our team at CPMC Van Ness Campus. As a Clinical Documentation Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient medical records.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough reviews of patient medical records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify documentation and resolve discrepancies.
- Apply clinical knowledge and expertise to identify areas for improvement in documentation.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize documentation processes and improve quality.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Current CA RN licensure.
- At least 2 years of experience in a complex acute care setting.
5x8 M-F Days, start times from 0700-8:30.
Additional Information:Please note that certain certifications, such as ACLS, BLS, and PALS, may have specific requirements. Additionally, physical exams and other health documents may be stipulated.
