REQUIREMENTS:
• Proven experience as a Federal Accountant with a minimum of 7 years in the field.
• CPA certification is advantageous, alongside comprehensive knowledge of GAAP.
• Strong background as a Senior Accountant with exceptional project management skills to oversee and guide accounting operations for various Federal clients.
• Prior experience in government contracting is essential.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are mandatory.
• Excellent organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail are required.
• Strong verbal communication skills are necessary.
• Capability to work autonomously without direct oversight.
• Demonstrated problem-solving aptitude is crucial.
• CGFM certification is mandatory.
• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related discipline is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide strategic guidance and support to team members regarding deliverables and client advisory services.
• Assist clients in critical areas such as managing the monthly closing process, including financial reviews, journal entry analysis, reconciliation assessments, and project reporting.
• Generate monthly and annual financial statements.
• Handle key accounting functions including revenue recognition, payroll processing, and fixed asset management.
• Conduct project accounting analysis utilizing accounting software.
• Monitor and forecast cash flow, preparing schedules for project forecasts, managing accounts receivable collections, and predicting vendor payment timelines.
• Prepare monthly variance analyses comparing actual results to budget/forecast.
• Participate in annual review and audit processes.
• Contribute to annual budget preparation and collaborate closely with Senior Management for financial statement evaluations, cash flow discussions, and other ad hoc reporting needs.
• Formulate, execute, and monitor budgets to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
