About the Role

Coterie Senior Living - Cathedral Hill is seeking a skilled Memory Care Wellness Assistant to join our team. As a Memory Care Wellness Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents with dementia or other cognitive impairments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, serving, and clean-up.
  • Facilitate programming and resident engagement, including activities, events, and outings.
  • Monitor and report changes in resident behavior or condition to the Wellness Director.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care and support for residents.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident apartments and common areas.
  • Assist with laundry, garbage collection, and other tasks as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure a positive and supportive environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of experience providing care to individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and make change.
  • Ability to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be fully vaccinated and provide vaccination record card at time of hire.
