Memory Care Activities Coordinator

Shift: 11:30am - 7:00pm

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Oversight: Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain accurate records as per policy.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist in training team members and facilitate communication with families regarding resident engagement.
  • Resident Engagement: Evaluate new residents and regularly assess their interests to ensure their activity needs are met.
  • Activity Coordination: Plan and execute a variety of dementia-appropriate activities and social events, including specialized outings.
  • Supply Management: Order necessary supplies and organize all activities within the memory care unit.
  • Reporting: Provide daily updates on resident participation and overall well-being.
  • Environment Maintenance: Ensure that all common areas are clean, safe, and inviting.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in dementia care.
  • Experience in senior living is preferred.
  • Must pass all background checks and meet necessary requirements.
