Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Breakfast Carryout Specialist to join our team at Another Broken Egg Cafe Wichita. As a key member of our carryout team, you will be responsible for coordinating the entire carryout station, communicating with the kitchen personnel, and providing an exceptional dining experience to our carryout guests.

Responsibilities
  • Greet all carryout guests and ensure a warm welcome
  • Take orders over the phone, online orders, and delivery orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Input orders into the computer system for the kitchen, following company standards
  • Estimate pick-up times for guests and communicate effectively
  • Package food and beverage orders, condiments, and appropriate items promptly and accurately
  • Ensure items are prepared properly and on a timely basis, following company standards
  • Communicate professionally with guests to determine their needs and help them with menu selections
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, including cash, credit cards, coupons, and gift cards
  • Practice safe food and beverage handling and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Promptly address customer service issues and refer customers to management when necessary
  • Prep sauce bottles and stock for use during and after the shift
  • Prep entire catering orders for guests
  • Perform basic cleaning duties during service to ensure a clean and organized workspace
Requirements
  • Must be dressed neatly and well-groomed in company-approved uniform at all times
  • Must be able to operate P.O.S. computer system, make change correctly, and make credit card transactions accurately
  • Must be able to read menu items and speak English
  • Able to reach, bend, stoop, and perform cleaning duties
  • Professional phone skills, with the ability to hear well in a loud environment
  • Required to carry trays and supplies, assist in re-stocking, and detail cleaning of all aspects of the restaurant
  • Must be able to clearly communicate guest needs to other employees, including bussers, hostess, and manager
