Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician to join our team at Nexus Health Systems Ltd. As a key member of our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) team, you will play a vital role in providing direct behavioral interventions to patients with intellectual developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, and traumatic brain injuries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavioral interventions during patients' everyday individual and program activities.
  • Facilitate patient behavior plans and complete 1:1 sessions as assigned by the BCBA.
  • Implement groups and document patient participation and response.
  • Complete and record patient daily behavioral logs and other behavioral data collection as directed by the BCBA.
  • Work with rehabilitation services to promote functional independence and assist patients with activities of daily living.
  • Perform walking rounds and provide direct behavioral interventions when needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
  • At least three years of experience in working in an Applied Behavior Analysis setting.
  • Previous or current licensure as a Registered Behavior Technician.
  • Certified in SAMA within 30 days of employment.
  • Certified in AHA BLS.
