The Democratic Data Exchange (DDx) is seeking a Client Engagement Specialist to join our Client Services team. This role will serve as a crucial link between DDx and our valued clients, focusing on enhancing member involvement in DDx initiatives and supporting the Democratic and progressive community in optimizing voter outreach and achieving electoral success.
In this position, reporting to the Director of Client Success and AV Director of Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in driving client acquisition for our primary offering (the Exchange), solidifying DDx's presence within the sector, and paving the way for future growth opportunities. This role is essential in advancing our strategies for client engagement and partnerships.

Client Onboarding
- Facilitate the onboarding journey for new clients, ensuring a seamless transition and comprehensive understanding of our platform's features and advantages.
- Encourage and support clients in utilizing DDx products and services, showcasing key functionalities and their value in achieving client objectives.
- Assist in creating training and educational resources to empower clients in effectively leveraging DDx.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with existing clients.
- Provide timely and effective support to clients, resolving issues and addressing inquiries promptly.
- Actively gather and analyze client feedback, sharing insights and opportunities with relevant teams.
- Collaborate with the Client Services team to design and implement successful client acquisition and partnership strategies.
- Communicate product feedback and suggestions to the DDx Product and Engineering teams.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset aligned with the organization's mission.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under tight deadlines.
- A minimum of two years of professional experience (including internships and volunteer work) with external partners or clients; strong experience in managing organizational information, including client, operations, or project management.
- Familiarity with political data tools and systems.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in political campaigns, progressive organizations, or data-related roles in electoral politics is preferred.
- Knowledge of CRM tools, such as Salesforce and Quickbase, is advantageous.
Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions.
Location:
- This is a remote position, allowing flexibility to work from anywhere in the U.S. DDx operates as a remote-first organization.
- While the role is remote, it may involve occasional travel for in-person gatherings or collaborative opportunities.
The physical requirements for this position include:
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
