About the Role

Healthcare Staffing Professionals, Inc. is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide services in a school setting in Newark, NJ with students in 4th-8th grade.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations, including screenings, consultations, and administration of standardized measures.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for eligible students, incorporating a variety of service delivery models.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals through multidisciplinary team meetings, annual reviews, and case study conferences.
  • Prepare and submit special education reports, including IEPs, evaluation reports, progress notes, and Medicaid claims.
  • Promote program development and staff training, offering in-services on referrals, speech-language disorders, and professional issues.
Requirements:
  • A master's degree in Communication Disorders from an American Speech-Language-Hearing Association accredited program or equivalent.
  • Current New Jersey certification (type 10 or type 03 and 09 endorsed for speech-language pathology) and licensure for speech-language pathology are required.
Compensation:

The estimated salary for this role is up to $74/hour, translating to approximately $2,775/week.
