We are seeking a highly qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at ProCare Therapy.
Job SummaryThis is a full-time position in a school district located in Newark, offering a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech and Communicative Disorders and be licensed to practice as an SLP in New Jersey.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide speech and language therapy services to students with a wide range of communication disorders and disabilities. This will involve conducting assessments and evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with other members of the education team.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address specific needs of each student.
- Provide high-quality therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate closely with other educators to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and provide support to students.
- Masters degree in Speech and Communicative Disorders from an accredited institution.
- Active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New Jersey.
- Prior experience working with children in a school setting.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
