Position Summary:
We are currently in search of a dedicated full-time Veterinary Client Relations Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless experience for our clients and their pets. The ideal candidate will work the closing shift from Wednesday to Sunday, from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Veterinary Client Relations Specialist, your primary duties will include:
- Providing a warm and welcoming greeting to clients both in person and over the phone.
- Delivering exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction.
- Maintaining a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
- Identifying and compassionately assisting clients experiencing various emotional states.
- Responding to inquiries regarding the services offered and directing clients to the appropriate staff members.
- Coordinating the flow of clients and their pets in the reception area, addressing any concerns regarding wait times or scheduling issues.
- Recognizing signs of distress in pets and owners, and managing basic medical emergencies appropriately.
- Assisting clients with medication pickups and answering related questions.
- Inputting data into practice management software for client check-ins and account management.
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail efficiently.
- Performing cashiering duties, including processing refunds and managing transactions.
- Scheduling appointments and providing reminders to clients regarding their upcoming visits.
- Responding to client emails and processing faxes as needed.
- Maintaining regular attendance and a full-time presence at work.
- Familiarizing oneself with veterinary terminology and retail products to assist clients effectively.
