Registered Veterinary Technician

Campus Veterinary Clinic is seeking a skilled Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting with surgical procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Room patients, prepare them for examination, and assist with medical procedures
  • Assist with surgical procedures, including preparing equipment and maintaining a sterile environment
  • Draw blood, run bloodwork, and perform other laboratory tests as needed
  • Operate x-ray equipment, position patients, and develop x-ray images
  • Provide excellent customer service, educate clients on animal care and health, and promote our clinic's services
  • Work collaboratively with our veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care and a positive client experience
Requirements:
  • Current state license as a Registered Veterinary Technician
  • Experience working with animals, including rooming patients, surgical assisting, and laboratory procedures
  • Knowledge of industry tools and equipment, including x-ray machines and laboratory equipment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
