Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our team. As a member of our nephrology healthcare team, you will participate in decision-making, teaching, leadership functions, and quality improvement activities that enhance patient care outcomes in the inpatient environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and effective patient care, performing all essential functions of Acute RN under supervision.
  • Document and enter patient data before, during, and after dialysis treatment.
  • Monitor and recognize aspects and implications of patient status that vary from normal and modify the treatment plan in collaboration with appropriate healthcare team members.
  • Communicate with dialysis providers and appropriate hospital personnel to provide continuity of patient care.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and in accordance with contractual agreement.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current appropriate state licensure.
  • Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
  • Minimum of 9 months experience as a Registered Nurse (bonus but not required).
  • Hemodialysis and/or ICU experience (bonus but not required).
