Job Summary

SAIC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our Cloud One Engineering Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the project management function of common services and infrastructure changes for our cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, integrate, and monitor projects to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with program stakeholders to forecast, plan, and coordinate all program-level procurements and integrations.
  • Direct day-to-day activities for all project and product-related efforts, ensuring effective communication and coordination across dynamic teams.
  • Develop project proposals by working with contract officers, Cloud Engineers, and program stakeholders to determine scope, cost, and pricing for RFPs submitted by the government.
  • Take ownership of project quality management and project risk management, including identifying risks, constraints, and mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, track performance, and provide regular reporting metrics for all related project or product milestones.
  • Serve as a liaison between program teams to identify interdependencies and gaps for successful deployments.
  • Communicate project information to program leadership, other program teams, and government stakeholders.
  • Directly responsible for reporting all risks and mitigation efforts for all project-related activities to government stakeholders and program leadership.
  • Ensure the quality of products and deliverables for each project or product.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of related experience; preferred degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
  • Six (6) years of IT Project Management experience in an enterprise environment.
  • Minimum five (5) years' experience with MS-Project.
  • Experience proposing, planning, and directing multiple technical projects.
  • Current PMP certification.
  • Ability to interact with high-level customers and collaborate with key stakeholders on proposed solutions for project planning.
  • Documented experience with Agile, waterfall, and iterative project lifecycles.
  • Hands-on experience with project planning, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling to closure.
  • Documented experience with project scope planning, including setting timelines and designing work breakdown structures.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Master's degree; preferred degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
  • Current ITIL v4 Foundation or higher certification.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Remedy, or related ticketing systems.
Clearance Requirements
  • Interim Secret clearance required to start; ability to obtain a Secret clearance required to maintain employment.
  • US citizenship required.
