Technology Sourcing Team Leader

Overview of the Position
The Technology Sourcing and Innovation (TSI) Team Leader will oversee a substantial team and will be responsible for all facets of personnel management within a designated functional area. This position will also be accountable for operational execution and performance metrics.

This role necessitates approximately 30% travel within the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as an advisory resource within the specialized area to peers, clients, and direct reports.
  • Manage, develop, and mentor team members while implementing performance management strategies as needed.
  • Hold full line management responsibilities for direct reports.
  • Evaluate situations, challenges, and opportunities, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex or significant issues or complaints, providing necessary support to team members.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding all business-related matters.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure best practices and continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Establish and nurture productive relationships and networks at an operational level to enhance customer relations.
  • Ensure the adoption of best practices and service offerings to maintain consistency in service delivery.
  • Adhere to Computacenter's Information Security Policies and report any potential or actual security incidents or risks to the organization.
  • Embrace and promote Computacenter's mission and core values.

Qualifications

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a people management capacity.
  • Experience in a demanding commercial environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant functional systems.
  • Proven experience in developing best practice policies and procedures for the functional area.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strategic thinking combined with tactical execution capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable engaging with colleagues in diverse locations where English may not be the primary language.
  • Strong self-organization and time management abilities.
  • Capability to prioritize and manage multiple requests concurrently.
  • Ability to build trust, assert when necessary, and demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm.
