Position Summary
We are on the lookout for a skilled Customer Service Associate to join our Customer Service team. The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter, adept at problem-solving with minimal supervision, and will thrive in a dynamic and enjoyable work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Exhibiting a positive company image while engaging in professional and courteous communication with customers and colleagues regarding inquiries related to orders or issues.
- Actively listening to customer needs and inquiries to determine the best course of action for service.
- Processing merchandise orders through various channels including email, live chat, and telephone.
- Resolving customer inquiries or issues related to orders, assessing warranty claims, and identifying additional business opportunities.
- Managing drop ship orders and ensuring timely delivery.
- Addressing customer concerns regarding order placement or shipping challenges.
- Directing product-related questions to the appropriate team members.
- Preparing invoices and shipping documentation for special customer orders.
- Verifying order accuracy and manually entering orders when necessary.
- Handling customer complaints and collaborating with shipping and warehouse personnel to expedite or trace shipments.
- Requesting back-ordered or out-of-stock items from retail locations to fulfill customer orders.
- Ensuring timely processing of quotes and work orders.
- Performing additional duties as assigned to support our Vision, Mission, and Company Values.
Is This Role Right for You?
- A high school diploma or GED is required; an associate degree or higher is preferred.
- Previous experience in a customer service role is essential.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Strong customer relationship management abilities.
- Organized with a keen understanding of reseller activities and status.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as manuals and instructions; capable of writing routine reports and correspondence.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
- Reliability in attendance and punctuality.
