The Youth Program Supervisor at Compass Health Network is responsible for overseeing a dedicated team of Community Support Specialists and Family Support Providers who deliver essential behavioral health services to children diagnosed with serious emotional disorders and their families.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducting and/or reviewing assessments to identify the unique strengths and needs of children and their families. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Creating and/or reviewing individualized wellness plans tailored to each child and family.
  • Training new staff on agency policies and the specific programs offered by Children's CPRC, ensuring that competency expectations and skill verifications are met.
  • Participating in interagency teams and relevant interdisciplinary groups to foster collaboration. Candidates should possess excellent relationship-building skills and effective time management abilities.
  • Ensuring that Community Support Specialists assist families in accessing culturally competent services and resources that align with their unique needs and desired outcomes.
  • Collaborating with other service providers, educational institutions, and community organizations to maintain open lines of communication with all parties involved in the care of the child and family. A solid understanding of family systems is beneficial.
  • Monitoring the delivery of service plans to continually reassess the child's status, available service options, community involvement, strengths, preferences, needs, and progress toward established goals.
  • Developing and implementing crisis intervention and safety plans in collaboration with families when necessary.
  • Documenting all aspects of children's services, including Healthcare Home and other wellness benefits, in accordance with established protocols.
  • Providing direct clinical supervision of children's CPRC services, as outlined by agency policies, which includes weekly individual supervision sessions, team meetings focused on clinical and operational matters, performance evaluations, and fostering motivational and leadership skills.
  • Assisting clients with transportation resources as required; driving is a fundamental aspect of this role.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned, including participation in emergency response and crisis intervention initiatives as needed.
