Job Summary

Link Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to support the US Army's Southeastern Regional Network Enterprise Center at Fort Stewart, GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network infrastructure, server management, and cybersecurity, with experience in system design, implementation, and management.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the design and architecture of enterprise-level IT systems, including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization environments.

* Develop and implement scalable and secure system solutions that meet the NEC's operational and strategic objectives.

* Oversee the installation, configuration, and integration of new systems and technologies into the existing IT infrastructure.

* Ensure seamless integration and interoperability of systems, applications, and services within the Army's network environment.

* Monitor and manage the performance, availability, and security of IT systems, identifying and resolving issues proactively.

* Optimize system performance through regular updates, patches, and tuning to ensure maximum efficiency and uptime.

* Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures to protect systems and data.

* Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and vulnerability scans to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.

* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and IT staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

* Serve as a subject matter expert, advising NEC leadership on system design, upgrades, and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

* US Citizen

* DoD Secret Clearance

* IAT Level III Certification required (CompTIA CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, equivalent or higher)

* Eight (8+) years of relevant experience or BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related IT field with four (4+) years of relevant experience.

Preferred:

* BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related IT field.

* Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

* Accurate and precise attention to detail.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Excellent analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.

* Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.
